Preparation and Hearth Replacement
We began our pine floor sanding Bristol project with the removal of an old hearth. This step required careful work, as hidden elements like pipes or wiring beneath the boards could present challenges. Once the area was cleared, new pine boards were measured, cut, and secured to the existing joists. The lacquer not only highlighted the natural grain of the pine but also provided a robust, low-sheen finish, making the floor easier to maintain and resistant to daily wear.
